m-tec® Silo

m-tec® has been manufacturing silos and containers for the construction industry since 1993. With this long-standing experience and more than 55,000 silos built, m-tec® is the market leader in the field of transport silos. m-tec® has revolutionised the market with new silo containers. The standard product range extends from small silos with a capacity of 1.2 m³ to stationary silos (up to 100 m³) and also includes transport silos (3-30 m³) with all possible receiving systems.

Know-how and state-of-the-art CAD technology enable m-tec® to implement individual customer requirements in a sensible and practical manner in a wide range of industries. In addition to the various logistics solutions for the plastics and steel industries, our silos are also used on golf courses, as road salt storage for winter road maintenance, and as absorbers in wastewater treatment and exhaust gas purification. The various, sometimes very special applications are the result of decades of experience in the manufacture and application of both pressure silos and non-pressure silos.

Is your silo past its prime and old or even damaged?

As a special service, m-tec® offers the renovation of silos and containers. The ‘all-round carefree package’ includes not only transport and repair work on the steel structure, but also surface treatment and painting, as well as the application of customer logos. The silos are painted in an environmentally friendly manner in accordance with the latest VOC guidelines.

All our silos can be easily combined with m-tec® construction site technology so that you can transport and process your products quickly and conveniently. m-tec® is the right partner for your logistics solution!

Transport silos are used to transport and store dry bulk and mixed goods. Transport, loading and unloading are carried out using special silo lifters. Transport silos from m-tec® are equipped with planks that allow the silos to be set up on solid ground without additional anchoring.

In addition to logistics solutions for flexible absorbers (wastewater treatment and exhaust gas purification), the containers are also used in other branches of industry, such as the plastics or steel industry, as mobile storage for road salt or as feed storage in agriculture.

Our classic transport silo for large quantities is the origin of our success. It is available for common loading systems such as bag, hook or rope systems and has been continuously improved in detail over the years. The large-volume containers are of course re-inflatable and also available as pressure silo variants up to 10 bar.

m-tec® always focuses on the customer's overall logistics concept. With our own silo loading system, we can guarantee optimum compatibility between your vehicle and the selected transport silo. At m-tec®, you get everything from a single source!

Technical data Transport silo 18 m³ / 22m³

Height: 6,50 m / 7,20 m
Diameter: 2,40 m / 2,50 m
max. operating pressure: 0 - 10 bar

Small silos up to 2 m³ are characterised by a high degree of flexibility in handling. The Piccolo Silo can be moved using many different tools typically available on construction sites, such as cranes, excavators, tongs, forklifts or pallet trucks.

The rectangular, freight-friendly shape of the Piccolo silo (1200 x 1200 mm) makes it easy to calculate freight volume and optimise freight costs.
The m-tec Piccolo silo can be flexibly filled with material using big bags or, optionally, pneumatically.
They are also available in stainless steel and with an operating pressure of 0 bar.
