CO₂ Emissions and Our Commitment to Sustainability

Since 1978, m-tec has stood for innovative solutions in the manufacturing, logistics, and processing of pre-mixed building materials and fine-grained bulk materials. By developing and manufacturing key plant components in-house, we lay the foundation for high quality, efficiency, and durability in our systems. Our solutions help make construction processes more efficient, economical, and resource-friendly worldwide.

Sustainable action is part of a forward-looking corporate development strategy at m-tec. That is why we regularly record our company's greenhouse gas emissions and implement measures to reduce energy consumption and use resources more efficiently.

Measures already implemented or currently underway include, among others:

• Use of electricity from renewable energy sources
• Expansion of our in-house photovoltaic systems
• Continuous improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings and equipment
• Optimization of technical processes and operational procedures
• Assessment of further potential for reducing energy consumption and emissions

Regularly compiling a CO₂ balance allows us to track developments transparently and evaluate the effectiveness of our measures. For example, savings resulting from investments in photovoltaics or other efficiency measures can be documented in a traceable way.

We offset unavoidable emissions by supporting recognized climate protection projects. In doing so, we understand climate protection as an ongoing improvement process aimed at reducing our environmental impact in the long term.

In addition, we are receiving a growing number of customer inquiries regarding environmental and sustainability metrics. Collecting and analyzing emissions data helps us respond to these requirements in a transparent and comprehensible way.

We are supported in preparing our CO₂ balances and evaluating potential measures by our partner, FOKUS ZUKUNFT GmbH & Co. KG.
